This Privacy Policy explains how Kalpna Lifeline Pharmacy (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use the Kalpna Lifeline mobile application (“App”).
1. Information we collect
- Mobile number — for OTP login (India +91) via our authentication provider.
- Profile details you enter — such as name and village, when placing orders or requests.
- Prescription images — photos you upload for pharmacist review.
- Order and request data — medicines, urgency, status, payment status notes, and related messages.
- Appointment / review content — if you use those features.
- Device / technical data — basic app and session data needed to keep you signed in and operate the service (for example session tokens stored on your device).
2. How we use information
- To verify your identity with OTP and keep you logged in.
- To process prescription and medicine requests at the pharmacy.
- To show order status and payment instructions from the store.
- To connect you with listed doctors/clinics when you request a visit.
- To improve reliability and security of the App.
3. Who we share data with
- Pharmacy staff — admins at Kalpna Lifeline Pharmacy who fulfil your requests.
- Service providers — cloud backend and SMS delivery partners used to run authentication, database, and storage (for example Supabase and an India DLT-compliant SMS gateway). They process data only to provide these services.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Permissions
- Camera / photos — only to capture or select prescription images, if you choose to upload them.
- Internet — to sync with our servers.
5. Retention
We keep order, prescription, and account-related data as long as needed to provide pharmacy services, meet legal or regulatory expectations for pharmacy records, and resolve disputes. You may contact us to request correction or deletion where applicable under law.
6. Security
We use industry-standard hosting and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Children
The App is intended for adults arranging medicines for themselves or family members. Do not upload a child’s data except as needed for a prescription you are authorised to handle.
